Ms. Pressley brings more than 25 years’ experience working in web design with specializations in the areas of user experience (UX), product strategy, and large content managements systems. She is currently the director of User Experience at ICF, working with several federal agencies to redesign web properties for both front-end user experiences and back-end authoring environments, and coaching the user experience practice.
Prior to working with ICF, Ms. Pressley worked both in-house and as a consultant in the private sector with corporations such as Time Warner Cable, AOL, CustomInk, and Microsoft. Most of these projects involved redesigning and maintaining large scale content management systems or complex applications and involved working with technologies such as Adobe Experience Manager, Tridion, Sitecore, Drupal, and custom Rails environments.

Product Strategy Lead, Children’s Welfare Information Gateway(CWIG) 2020 – Present.
As project strategy lead, Ms. Pressley leads the user experience, visual design experience, and content strategy teams. A core aspect of this role is to integrate the 21st Century IDEA into the designed product and making use of the U.S. Web Design system as the base for our branded pattern library. The library will guide the design and creation of multiple sites within the CWIG web spaces. The work of the team also includes designing new front-end experiences to create a more modern look and feel that also increases the usability and readability and enables multiple screen size experiences.
Product Strategy Lead, SAMHSA.gov, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, 2017 – Present.
As project strategy lead, Ms. Pressley leads the user experience, visual design experience, and content strategy teams. Their work primarily entails designing new front-end experiences to create a more modern look and feel that also increases the usability and readability of the site and working with the team to establish their pattern library to support the design of their project. Ms. Pressley teaches the tenets of Design Thinking and Sandbox Agile, coaches the team through story mapping and release planning, and works with the team to establish their pattern library.
User Experience Lead, Center for Behavioral Health Statistics and Quality (CBSHQ), 2016 – Present.
Ms. Pressley conducted a complete overhaul of the front-end user experience to make reports more accessible to users and to improve the overall look, feel, and readability of the site. Experience and/or understanding of substance abuse and mental health related data and how researchers, analysts, policy makers and government agencies may use this data. Utilizing best practices to create usable, accessible, multi-device experiences. Experience with human centered design, including the utilization of metrics, heat mapping, and other tools in addition to user testing to experiment and iterate when developing and maintaining a website.
Product Strategist, Office of Population Affairs (OPA), 2016 – 2018.
Ms. Pressley completely rebuilt the OPA’s Title X locator, working with raw data files to create reporting functionality for administrators, and creating a new experience for public users accessing clinic location information. Leading a cross-functional remote based team through a fully collaborative design and development process.
Lead Experience Architect, Time Warner Cable Consultant, 2011 – 2013.
Ms. Pressley led five concurrent projects with Time Warner Cable to help consolidate their web properties into one consistent brand. This included two projects for Residential, Business Class, MyAccounts, and RoadRunner. For each of the projects, she redesigned the properties from static HTML to content managed pages using Adobe Experience Manager. This involved both designing the front-end experiences and the database design.
Senior User Experience Designer, AOL Shopping, 2007 – 2010.
Ms. Pressley managed the user experience for AOL Shopping while it was the second largest channel at AOL, bringing in millions of users each day. She worked with the application programming interface to create new shopping experiences which encouraged the purchase pathway. Ms. Pressley also redesigned the channel to assist in changing the content management system.
